On the palate, it is robust and rich, with flavours of caramel, toffee, raisins, crisp apple and a hint of heather honey. As it develops, notes of cocoa powder, candied orange and a light spiciness bring warmth. The finish is long and warm, with gentle smoke enveloping the sweet, spiced notes.
