On the nose, dark chocolate, candied ginger, dates and leather unfold alongside ancient oak and coffee. On the palate, roasted pineapple, baked peach, crystallised ginger, aniseed, blackberry jam, wood smoke, resin and caramelised sugar. The finish is exceptionally long, closing on dark chocolate and toasted oak.
