On the nose, polished oak, plums, dark cherries and fresh leather, complemented by dried fruit and spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate, rich molasses, toffee, crystallised ginger and roasted pineapple, followed by vanilla, fudge and dark chocolate-covered nuts. The finish is long and complex, with a warm touch of oak.
